Free Information Session for Full Members
NAABA partnered with BDC Consulting and Athabasca Tribal Council to provide a FREE information session on Health & Safety and Quality Assurance. Health & Safety and Quality Assurance is on everyone’s agenda and it is an important item when working on site. The session took place on February 18, 2009 at the Sawridge Inn & Conference Center.
Aboriginal Business & Taxation Seminar
The Aboriginal Business & Taxation Seminar took place September 14-16, 2008 at the Sawridge Inn and Conference Center. 2008 Annual General Meeting
The general meeting took place on September 18, 2008 at the Sawridge Inn, presented by Suncor Energy. There was a silent auction with the proceeds going to the Mark Amy Healing Centre.
Chief Clarence Louis of the Osoyoos Indian Band (pictured right) was the keynote speaker for the evening.

2008 Aboriginal Business Showcase Event
Aboriginal businesses in this region were given the opportunity to show their potential to the community when Northeastern Alberta Business Association (NAABA) hosted the first Aboriginal Business Showcase, March 19, 2008.
